On display? Don’t mind if they are.

Did you cross your fingers?? Cause both of my paintings from last week and three of Jessica Palmer’s are going to be on display from June 23rd to September 6th at the, ahem, Wellington County Musuem & Archives in Elora. Pretty cool old building. Nice area, too. All scenic and stuff.

How about that?

A Post for Portraits

Do you ever black out and then realize two weeks has gone by? Ok, well me neither, but it’s been two weeks since my last “weekly” post. But let’s be serious here for a second, do you want mediocre posts on weeks when not a lot is going on? Or do you want whirlwind, tour de force posts like what you’re about to read? I think I’ve made my point.

Ahem, so! I went and framed up a couple of paintings to enter into a juried exhibition, and maaaaaan, I’m gonna show them to you. I won’t actually know if I’m in the show until this Thursday, so keep your fingers thoroughly crossed for me.

This painting you may recognize from the main site, it’s from about a year ago.

Badass frame? Actually it knda sucks. Really sucks. Let's just hope it'll stay on the wall once it goes up. Fingers? Cross 'em.

NOW THE NEXT ONE, is my very latest portrait, and yes, you’re hearing a drumroll… I JUST finished it on the 10th. Soon to be appearing in the People section, a portrait of my old pal, Dan.

I'm pretty excited about this one.
